2011 Scholarship Winners

The Family Scholarship Program is earmarked for high school students who are sons or daughters of PPL Montana employees and retirees. Scholarships of $1,000 were awarded to:

  • Jordan Crippen of Colstrip. After graduating from Colstrip High School, he plans to attend the University of Montana, Missoula. He is the son of Jodi and Jim Crippen, a journeyman mechanic at the Colstrip power plant.
  • Ryan Hensleigh of Colstrip.  After Graduating from Colstrip High School, he plans to attend Montana Tech, Butte. He is the son of Robbie and Gene Hensleigh, a journeyman mechanic at the Colstrip power plant.
  • Conner Menahan of Colstrip. After graduating from Colstrip High School, he plans to attend the University of Montana, Missoula. He is the son of Patrick and Brenda Menahan, both employees at the Colstrip power plant. Patrick is a Plant Operator and Brenda is a Work Management Systems Coordinator.
  • Laurin Myers of Colstrip. After graduating from Colstrip High School, she plans to attend Montana State University, Bozeman. She is the daughter of Jill and Michael Myers, an Electrical Engineer at the Colstrip power plant.
