PPL Montana employee selected for state leadership program

Lisa Perry, community affairs manager for PPL Montana, has been accepted into Leadership Montana, a prestigious program for community, business and government leaders.

Leadership Montana’s mission is to develop a sustainable core of committed leaders from communities, business and government who understand the issues Montana faces as it looks to the future. The program is set up similar to a school year. Sessions are held throughout the year beginning in September and the “class” of participants graduates in May.

“This is an opportunity to take a leadership role in creating a future for Montana and I’m very grateful to PPL for encouraging my participation,” said Perry.

Perry will participate in the second class of the Leadership Montana program. The personal development program offers education on issues that affect Montana’s economy and environment. It consists of seven sessions held in communities throughout the state.

The program’s first class held a session at PPL Montana’s Colstrip power plant and included influential members such as state Sen. John Brueggeman and State Auditor John Morrison.
