She joins PPL Montana today and will report to David Hoffman, manager of External Affairs for PPL Montana.
"We are very fortunate to have a person of Lisa Perry’s knowledge and experience join the PPL team," said Brad Spencer, vice president and chief operating officer of PPL Montana, the company that operates PPL’s power plants in the state. "Her years in customer service, community relations and charitable giving, as well as her familiarity with people throughout the state, will be invaluable in our continued effort to be a good corporate neighbor in Montana."
Perry has served for more than 16 years as Northwest Airlines’ manager, Corporate and Agency Sales. "From her base in Billings, Lisa will travel throughout the state to talk with community leaders about how we might partner to improve the quality of life for people in Montana," Spencer said.
The PPL Montana Community Fund, announced in late December, was established to further strengthen the partnership between PPL Montana and its communities. Under the direction of a statewide advisory board, PPL Montana will award $200,000 worth of grants to Montana organizations in the areas of education, environment and economic development. The board will be comprised of community, business and government representatives from throughout the state, as well as PPL Montana employees.
